WHAT YOU'LL DO





As an HR Business Partner at Lutheran Life Villages, you will provide strategic HR support that fosters a positive and compliant workplace. Your key responsibilities will include:


Collaborative Recruitment

: Advise and collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and create a welcoming candidate experience that attracts top talent.

Onboarding Experience

: Design and implement engaging new hire orientations and onboarding processes that help new employees feel integrated and valued within our community.

Employee Relations Advocate:

Act as a trusted advisor and resource for employees, proactively addressing concerns and fostering a collaborative and harmonious work environment.

Policy and Compliance Guidance

: Collaborate with leadership to ensure adherence to employment laws and organizational policies, conducting regular assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Training and Development:

Work alongside leadership to identify training needs, facilitating the development of programs that enhance employee skills and promote career advancement.

Performance Management:

Support managers in the performance evaluation process, providing guidance and resources to ensure fair and constructive evaluations.

Engagement Champion:

Lead initiatives that foster employee engagement, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and open communication channels that invite feedback and collaboration.

Leader Relations:

Serve as a trusted advisor to campus leaders, providing strategic guidance and HR expertise to align workforce strategies with organizational objectives. Collaborate with leadership to enhance their effectiveness, offering tools, insights, and support to cultivate a positive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture.

WHAT YOU NEED





To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:


Education

: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

Experience

: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.

Strong ability to connect with diverse individuals and create a supportive environment.

Problem-Solving:

Exceptional skills in analyzing complex situations and developing innovative, compliant solutions to HR challenges.

Collaboration:

Proven ability to facilitate open information sharing and work effectively with cross-functional teams, maintaining confidentiality with poise and tact.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in HRIS systems (UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with employment laws and regulations specific to long-term care.

Organizational Skills:

Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a focus on strategic HR initiatives.
