Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of common areas according to established standards. Change linens, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries. Conduct floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the hotel including lobbies, hallways, and stairwells. Assist with laundry services as needed to ensure timely availability of clean linens. Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.

Skills

Preferably but not indispensable experience in cleaning and maintenance roles, preferably within the hotel industry. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality service. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Effective communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service.
