Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper (Houseman) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Ensure all public areas of the hotel are kept clean and well-maintained, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly. Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens as needed. Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all items are cleaned and returned to their designated areas. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a friendly and professional manner. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations within the team.

Skills

Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is essential; hotel experience is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated time frames.
