Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and impeccably clean for all guests and staff. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead a team of housekeeping staff, implement effective cleaning protocols, and manage inventory and supplies.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and procedures.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules for all areas of the facility, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or high-traffic times.
- Address any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning practices.

Experience

- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, and floor care maintenance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
