DutiesResponsibilities:
Supervise Cleaning Staff:
Direct and oversee daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure all tasks meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
Assign Duties:
Allocate responsibilities based on workload and priorities to maintain efficient operations.
Inspect Work:
Conduct regular checks of rooms, hallways, and common areas to verify cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
TrainingDevelopment:
Train new employees on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain stock of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure availability.
Guest Interaction:
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit reports on staff performance, inventory usage, and departmental activities for management review.
Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by the Facility Manager.
QualificationsSkills:
Experience:
Prior housekeeping or related experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or training in hospitality management is a plus.
Attention to Detail:
Strong ability to identify cleanliness issues quickly and maintain high standards of organization.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team while fostering a positive work environment.
