Job Description

Housekeeping Supervisor that oversees the cleaning staff and operations in hotels, homes,offices, or other facilities, ensuring that all areas are maintained to high cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities include scheduling staff, assigning and supervising cleaning tasks, training new employees, managing inventory and supplies, complying with safety and health regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Typical duties include: Scheduling and coordinating housekeeping staff shifts Supervising and inspecting the quality of cleaning Training new and current staff on cleaning procedures and standards Managing supplies, equipment, and inventory Handling customer complaints and ensuring service improvements Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation policies Performing cleaning duties during staff shortages Screening, hiring, and recommending promotions or dismissals Effective communication, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team are essential skills for this role. Housekeeping Supervisors play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
