Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or institutional environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that cleanliness standards are maintained, staff are effectively managed, and guest or client satisfaction is achieved. This leadership role requires a strong background in cleaning and custodial services, with a focus on quality assurance and team coordination. Prior hotel experience or hospitality industry knowledge is highly desirable to ensure seamless service delivery.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet operational goals. Address guest or client concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to enhance satisfaction. Implement cleaning protocols for various surfaces including floors, carpets, and industrial areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all housekeeping activities.

Experience

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality management is highly advantageous. Demonstrated expertise in floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance. Experience managing a team of housekeeping staff or custodians with a focus on training and supervision. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and janitorial equipment operation is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
