Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, with experience in various cleaning methods and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Duties

Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility. Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and maintenance. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff use. Implement effective floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and other surface care as needed. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping schedules and special requests from guests. Address any guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and supply usage.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or janitorial services is required. Proven skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices. Experience in the hospitality industry or hotel environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is crucial. Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and guests professionally.
