Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, custodial services, and hospitality management. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and high-quality service. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols for various areas including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed while adhering to budget constraints. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hospitality environment. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inspections, and inventory logs.

Requirements

Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, and floor care maintenance. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving high standards of cleanliness. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by the business needs. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
