About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable

Public Space Attendant

to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout all public areas of the hotel -- including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other guest spaces. Your work ensures that every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and welcoming environment from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all assigned public areas such as lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and entrances. Vacuum, dust, mop, polish, and disinfect surfaces according to hotel standards. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed. Replenish supplies in restrooms and other public areas. Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction at all times. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Ensure cleaning equipment and carts are maintained and stored properly. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and adhere to property grooming standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred, but not required -- we'll train the right candidate. Ability to work independently and efficiently with strong attention to detail. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 30-40 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to providing excellent guest service.
