We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. Our desired manager will have a strong background in hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning, with proven leadership skills in housekeeping management. This role involves coordinating the daily operation of the housekeeping room attendants, laundry team, and public space cleanliness. You are to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintain efficient workflow across all departments-ensuring rooms are turned over swiftly and to company standard and brand requirement. The Housekeeping Manager will work directly to train cleaners and employees and ensure the top most cleanliness and expectation of the General Manager and the brand.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control procedures.
Train new staff directly by you on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
Oversee floor care operations including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other specialized cleaning tasks such as deep cleans.
Conduct daily inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations- which includes rooms, laundry room, public areas, and more.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Communicate with General Manager on needed items.
Address guest or staff concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction with regards to department.
Ensure scores are above 90% in cleanliness and housekeeping area.
Walk floors, and ensure all housekeeping closets are kept stocked, organized, and clean every single day.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or occupancy levels.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within all housekeeping activities.
Ensure all housekeeping has proper documentation.
Experience
Proven experience in hospitality or janitorial roles with a focus on housekeeper management or supervisory responsibilities.
Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services.
Prior experience working in hotel environments or similar hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial work.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
