Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when reordering is necessary.

Experience

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is mandatory; experience in industrial cleaning or hotel environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and floor care techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player in a hospitality setting.
