Starlight Haven at Hot Springs Housekeeping & Laundry Specialist

Welcome to Starlight Haven at Hot Springs! We are famous for our unique Geodesic Domes, Glamping Tents, and Treehouses. We value our team members who help us shine, and we are looking for a part-time Contract Housekeeping & Laundry Specialist to grow our team.

We take pride in keeping our property clean and in top shape. Our 5-star reviews are proof (see Google)! As our Housekeeping & Laundry Specialist (Contract), you will work with our Resort Manager to make sure our guests always find a clean, cozy, and well-stocked place to stay.

What It Takes

: A positive attitude, readiness to learn, and a sense of responsibility. Prior housekeeping experience is a bonus; however, we can teach you on the job too!

Key Responsibilities

: The list of duties included below is not comprehensive and serves as an example of activities you may lead. Among others, your duties would include:

Take all the used linen to the laundry room and pick up clean linens. Dust, mop, vacuum, sanitize surfaces, clean windows, doors, and the kitchenette. Replace linen, check the supplies, and stage the cabin. Clean and sanitize the hot tub and grill and sweep the decks. Perform deep cleaning work, as needed. Perform laundry work, as needed.

You will need a car to get around and clean our property. And we will make sure you are trained to do this job well.

Schedule:

Housekeeping schedule can be flexible since we have cleaning shifts available every day between 11 AM and 4 PM.

But we really need help on Sundays, our busiest checkout day.

Laundry schedule is primarily on Mondays and Fridays, and possibly on Sundays.

Pay & Benefits:

We offer great pay and benefits for our amazing team members. For housekeeping, we pay a cleaning rate per unit, from $35 for the smallest to $60 for the largest. All units are small, 1 bedroom/1 bath or 1 bedroom/1 bath + small loft, and on average take 1 to 2 hours to clean.

That's like earning $30 to $35 per hour! And we provide all cleaning supplies.

The laundry wage is

$13/hour
