What you'll do

Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens and garments. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laundry machines to ensure optimal performance. Sort and categorize items based on fabric type and cleaning requirements. Handle dry cleaning processes with care to preserve garment quality. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by organizing supplies and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms and common areas. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.

Basic qualifications

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping roles, preferably within a hotel environment. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and products used in laundry services. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
