Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person with Janitorial experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning windows and resident rooms. Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, dining room and common areas Carry out floor care duties such as buffing, waxing and stripping as needed Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established protocols Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any significant issues to management Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly Provide porter services as required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment

Qualifications

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is desirable Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others Basic maintenance skills are required for this role Assistance in the kitchen for some cleaning and bringing meals to the dining room

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
