Position Summary

The Housekeeping Inspector ensures guest rooms meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards. This role verifies room readiness and assists staff in maintaining consistent quality.

Essential Functions

Inspect rooms for cleanliness, proper setup, and supply levels. Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrective action. Report maintenance needs promptly. Support staff with training, quality checks, and guest service. Inspect VIP rooms and special requests as assigned. Coordinate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready on time.

Other Functions

Assist with cleaning during high-demand times. Support laundry or public-area tasks as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

-----------------------

Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to coach and support team members.

Physical Requirements

-------------------------

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching. Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and push/pull carts.

Work Environment

Indoor setting with some exposure to cleaning chemicals. * Weekend and holiday availability required.
