Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential homes and commercial establishments. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and fresh for use. Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain the appearance of all flooring types. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in housekeeping management tasks as required, including training new staff members on cleaning protocols.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Experience in hotel or commercial cleaning environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and cleaning products. Proficiency in carpet cleaning methods and equipment usage. Familiarity with floor care practices for various surfaces, including hardwood, tile, and carpeted areas. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
