Housekeeping Attendant

Reports To:

Front End Manager

Job Summary:

The housekeeping attendant is responsible for maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the spa to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all guests and employees.

Responsibilities:

This position will give particular attention to ensuring that the following areas are:

Thoroughly cleaned and sanitized Counters are free from debris Trash cans have been emptied Floors have been swept, vacuumed and mopped

These areas include, but are not limited to:

Locker rooms and restrooms Particular attention given to wiping down the interior and exterior of all lockers All guest amenities are organized, tidy and stocked Mirrors are clean Wet Room Area (jacuzzi, sauna, cold bucket plunge) Relaxation lounge Treatment rooms Reception area, Retail area and Staff Break room

Secondary Responsibilities

Assists with laundry; completing any washing, drying and/or folding of spa linens and robes that remain from the day shift. Maintains an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and informs supervisor when supplies are needed Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Any shift that is 6 hours or longer is required to have a 30 minute unpaid break

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a spa, hotel, or similar environment is desirable. Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Physical stamina to perform required tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Reliable transportation to and from our Houston location.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
