: Housekeeper

Position Summary

Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the clubhouse and its facilities. This role ensures a welcoming, sanitary, and safe environment for members, guests, and staff while upholding the club's high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of all clubhouse areas including restrooms, locker rooms, dining rooms, meeting spaces, hallways, offices, and common areas. Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, polish, and sanitize surfaces as needed. Clean and restock restrooms and locker rooms with supplies (toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.). Ensure all entrances, windows, doors, and glass are clean and streak-free. Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and decor throughout the clubhouse. Assist with laundry services including linens, towels. Monitor and report maintenance issues such as leaks, light outages, or damage. Properly handle cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines. Ensure storage areas and housekeeping closets are organized and stocked. Assist with seasonal cleaning projects (deep cleaning carpets, polishing floors, etc.). Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists provided by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Facilities Manager. Provide courteous and professional interactions with members, guests, and coworkers.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (hospitality, hotel, or club experience a plus). Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move items up to 40 lbs. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
