Housekeepe
r maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors at The Spring. This role supports daily shelter operations by ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards.
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain common areas, offices, restrooms, kitchen, dining hall, and meeting spaces
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces
Perform room turnovers after guest transitions
Remove trash and restock supplies (paper products, soap, sanitizer, etc.)
Respond to spills, urgent cleaning needs, and deep-cleaning tasks
Use cleaning products and equipment safely
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Monitor and report cleaning supply inventory
Report maintenance or safety concerns
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
Knowledge of cleaning tools and techniques
Ability to sign The Spring's Statement of Faith
Valid driver's license
SkillsPhysical Requirements
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer-service mindset
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
