Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service to all residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors of residents in the community
Clean all rooms assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned completely, including toilet bowl, sinks, bathtubs/showers; countertops, mirrors and sterilization of the floor.
Ensure clean kitchen areas, including counters, under counters, mopping the kitchen floor
Ensure all surfaces are dusted while at the same time caring for residents' belongings
Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed including vacuuming all exposed areas and washing inside of windows when necessary
Clean all common areas, including but not limited to: halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, show kitchens, lobbies, elevators, offices and model apartments
Clean vacant apartments as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
Ensure cleanliness of public restrooms
Properly use and maintain housekeeping and laundry carts at all times
Wash and dry all laundry, including resident's personal laundry using appropriate products and following resident instructions in cooperation with Laundry Attendant as may be applicable
Follow emergency procedures when chemicals are accidently misused
Understand the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste
Maintain a clean laundry room and store chemicals in accordance with proper procedures
Deliver clean linens to floors and residences as directed
Assist in garbage removal and snow removal as directed
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience with and passion for working with seniors preferred
