Thornton Heights Terrace, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility, has job opportunities for those interested in serving this special population. Our philosophy insures that our 210 ambulatory adults with a history of mental illness receive Recovery oriented services best suited to their individual strengths and needs.Our housekeepers perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned including, but not limited to, the following:Clean/dust/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, window treatments, bathroom fixtures, lights, and room heating/cooling units in resident rooms and assigned common areas; sweep, dust, mop, strip, wax, buff, and disinfect floors; vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpeting; wash, wipe, dust, and clean all walls and ceilings and non-carpeted floors; discard trash into proper containers; and work with residents to maintain their living area in a safe and clean conditions.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE SOME HOUSEKEEPING EXPERIENCE.SOME EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS IS PREFERRED. THIS OPENING IS FOR 7AM-3:30PM AND HAS A SCHEDULE OF SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY WITH THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS OFF.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
