Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to cleanliness standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and enhance team performance. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed while maintaining budgetary guidelines. Implement effective cleaning procedures for various surfaces and materials, including specialized floor care techniques. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, supply usage, and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hotel or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, custodial practices, and floor care techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
