Description of the role:

The Housekeeper at Springs Village Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Sanitize and disinfect all areas including bathrooms, common areas, and resident rooms Handle and dispose of waste in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, residents, and families Perform quality control checks and ensure adherence to cleanliness standards Train and mentor housekeeping team members Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment Create and adjust staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage Address resident concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting Strong leadership and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and infection control practices Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and products Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks when necessary
