Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and performing carpet cleaning as needed Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction Follow established protocols for waste disposal and linen handling to promote hygiene and safety Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment effectively Support team efforts by assisting with laundry duties and special cleaning projects when required

Experience

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and janitorial tasks Knowledge of floor care procedures for different surfaces ensures optimal maintenance of flooring assets Background in hospitality environments enhances understanding of guest expectations and service excellence Experience managing or supervising housekeeping teams is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities in housekeeping management Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines consistently to maintain high-quality standards
