Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors to keep them looking their best. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored. Follow established safety procedures and health standards to create a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices for maintaining cleanliness in guest environments. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying cleaning needs. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
