Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including the use of specialized equipment Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and sinks to uphold health standards Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to custodial work and hospitality standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments--hotel experience is highly valued Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and custodial procedures Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
