The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning of ABHS office, including common areas, restrooms and staff office. He or she must have the ability to follow proper policies and procedures and should be proactive and attentive to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
Dust wall vents, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all paper goods and soap dispensers are stocked adequately.
Check for and remove marks from walls.
Empty all trash cans.
Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all clients and staff of ABSH.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, particularly when interacting with ABHS clients.
Communicate with clients and staff in a respectful manner.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Professional and neat appearance and presentation, including adherence to the dress code and good personal hygiene.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
Maine background check is required.
Physical Requirements
To perform the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, lift, carry, squat, crawl, reach, kneel, push, pull and twist using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time. The employee must be able to work with hazardous chemicals. He or she must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
