Housekeeper 1st Shift
Job Description
Full-time position with excellent benefits! Everyone rotates to cover weekends.
This position must provide clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly, and satisfying surrounds for the patients, employees and public. The Housekeeper promotes hygienic conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors. May be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood and bodily fluids. The Housekeeper must follow the required written Kansas Medical Center policies and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting of critical/non-critical areas of the hospital. The Housekeeper is required to apply in their daily duties the educational training provided by management in accordance with CDC, AHE, APIC.
Hospital experience preferred.
Kansas Medical Center (KMC) is a 58 inpatient bed hospital with 6 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 Cath Labs, 5 nursing units, Radiology services, Laboratory and Cardiac Rehab.
