What You'll Do

As a Spruce Up! House Cleaner, you'll be the heart of our business:

Cleaning Tasks:

Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.

Room Maintenance:

Clean, and organize various areas of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, and common areas.

Inventory Management:

Monitor cleaning supplies and report when items need replenishing.

Safety Practices:

Adhere to safety protocols and use company cleaning products in accordance with company instructions to ensure a safe environment.

Driving:

Drive our company car to our customer's homes

Marketing:

Help Seattle learn about Spruce Up! (for example, leaving flyers on neighbors' doors)

Qualifications

You don't need prior experience--just the right attitude. We'll teach you the rest. You take pride in your work and care about doing things right You're manage time well--you're on time and meet deadlines You can handle physical tasks like bending, lifting, and standing for long periods You're trustworthy, respectful, and kind You work well independently but love being part of a team

Desired skills:

Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning Strong attention to detail Great communication skills

The Perks

Excellent pay

- Starting hourly wage depends on experience, with a performance-based bonus that allows you to earn up to 10% more each week

Work Environment

You'll work in different homes throughout Seattle--every day is a little different Work is physically active and done in teams of 3 Typical hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

A Quick Heads-Up:

We're a newer company--we got off the ground here in Seattle in November 2025. That means hours will start smaller as we build up our client base, but they'll grow over time. This role starts at 30 hours per week and will grow to a 40 hour per week job in the next 4-8 weeks. If you're someone who's excited to be part of something from the beginning and help shape it as we grow, we'd love to have you on the team.
