The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving group and event business -- from prospecting and booking to detailing and execution -- across both corporate and social markets. This role requires a motivated self-starter with a strong understanding of the Orlando market and a passion for creating successful partnerships while maximizing hotel revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
Actively sell guest rooms, meeting space, and food & beverage packages to achieve monthly and quarterly goals
Prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring accuracy of all event details, room blocks, and billing information
Review and manage group contracts, rooming lists, and deadlines (cut-off dates, guarantees, deposits, etc.)
Collaborate with Conference Services, Culinary, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless event execution
Conduct site visits and client meetings as needed to showcase the property and close sales opportunities
Participate in sales and operations meetings, providing updates on upcoming groups and sales goals
Identify upsell opportunities to maximize profitability
Maintain accurate records and communications through CRM or sales systems
Represent the hotel professionally at client events, networking functions, and community engagements
Qualifications
3+ years of hotel sales experience (Orlando market experience preferred)
Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
Strong communication and negotiation skills (verbal, written, and phone)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Salesforce or Maestro experience a plus
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure
Professional demeanor and presentation
Valid driver's license required (local travel to client meetings and events)
