Duties

Conduct regular patrols of hotel grounds, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and parking facilities to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Monitor CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems continuously to oversee activity across the property and detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access. Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies by assessing the situation and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce hotel policies related to guest conduct, loss prevention, and safety procedures to protect guests' belongings and hotel assets. Perform detailed inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service entrances to ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide first aid and CPR when needed, demonstrating readiness to handle medical emergencies with confidence and professionalism. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively through conflict management techniques while maintaining a respectful environment for all guests and staff. Maintain accurate incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to document security activities and incidents thoroughly. Assist in training new team members on safety protocols, surveillance procedures, and conflict resolution techniques as part of ongoing team development.

Experience

Proven experience in security roles such as law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance technology including CCTV systems is essential for effective monitoring. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; candidates should demonstrate the ability to respond confidently in medical emergencies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations professionally while maintaining guest satisfaction. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to safeguard hotel assets and reduce theft or vandalism incidents. Previous experience working in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory; a proactive attitude towards guest safety is key.
