We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Motel Manager to oversee daily operations, manage guest relations, and ensure timely rent collection. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, confident in enforcing policies, and comfortable working with a wide range of personalities. Prior experience in motel, hotel, or apartment/property management is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Collect rents and payments on time; follow up on late or overdue accounts professionally and firmly
Enforce property rules, lease agreements, and motel policies
Handle guest and tenant concerns, conflicts, and complaints calmly and professionally
Maintain accurate records, files, and reports
Manage paperwork including leases, invoices, and daily logs
Use QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping and financial tracking
Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and vendors as needed
Monitor property condition and report issues promptly
Ensure a safe, clean, and orderly property at all times
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in motel, hotel, apartment, or property management
Strong punctuality and reliability -- being on time is essential
Comfortable collecting rent and addressing late payments
Excellent organizational and paperwork skills
Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple personalities and difficult situations professionally
Problem-solver who can work independently and make sound decisions
