Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Maintenance Technician (Part-Time/Temporary) to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance tasks efficiently. Duties
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC units, and structural components
Conduct residential painting and welding tasks as needed for property upkeep
Use schematics, blueprints, and CMMS software to identify issues and document maintenance activities
Supervise or assist with projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all areas of the hotel property
Assist with repair or renovation projects
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies
Skills
Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and residential painting
Experience with schematics, CMMS software, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
Ability to operate welding equipment and perform basic welding repairs
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and manufacturing processes is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on preventative maintenance strategies
Supervising experience or leadership skills in a maintenance environment preferred
Good communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and hotel staff
Mechanical knowledge combined with customer service orientation to address guest concerns professionally
