We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hotel Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills, including electrical work, welding, and mechanical knowledge. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of hotel facilities, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance tasks across the hotel, including electrical repairs, plumbing, HVAC servicing, and general upkeep. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system monitoring and troubleshooting. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively. Oversee the maintenance of hotel facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Execute residential painting projects to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and concerns promptly. Supervise maintenance staff as necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot and repair systems. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in various maintenance tasks. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding technical documentation. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred. Welding skills are a plus for performing repairs as needed. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous for leading a team effectively. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of manufacturing processes may be beneficial for certain tasks.
