Responsibilities

Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently and safely Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as dry cleaning or stain removal when necessary Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment sanitation and organization of supplies Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or damage during laundry processes Collaborate with housekeeping staff to fulfill linen and garment requests promptly and accurately Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed

Requirements

Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong understanding of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain treatment Ability to operate commercial laundry machines safely and efficiently Knowledge of cleaning techniques and familiarity with dry cleaning methods is a plus Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards before distribution Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision A positive attitude and team spirit to contribute to a lively work environment

Pay: $14.50 per hour
