Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest areas, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to exceptional guest experiences through diligent custodial and janitorial work, supporting the smooth operation of our hotel facilities.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors Assist with floor care tasks such as polishing and buffing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and shine Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas, including toiletries and linens Ensure all public spaces are free of debris and hazards by performing regular janitorial duties Support housekeeping management with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness of service areas, storage closets, and equipment rooms Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is desirable Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as required Excellent organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned duties efficiently Previous experience in housekeeping management or hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
