Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces. Care for floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to preserve their appearance and safety. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow established cleaning procedures aligned with health regulations and hotel policies to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction. Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as required. Support housekeeping management in inventory control by tracking supplies and equipment usage. Engage with guests politely when necessary, respecting their privacy while ensuring their comfort is prioritized.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; hotel housekeeping experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards within hospitality settings. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in hotel environments. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks effectively. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial roles is advantageous; supervisory or housekeeping management experience is a plus.
