Responsibilities

Must pass a background check and work weekends

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and common spaces to uphold the hotel's high standards of presentation. Perform detailed floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces looking their best. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently to meet guest needs. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and continued quality standards. Adhere to hotel policies regarding security, privacy, and confidentiality while respecting guest belongings and preferences. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled intervals or as needed for event preparation or seasonal changes. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence in hospitality.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or hospitality settings preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet maintenance. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in all cleaning tasks. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines consistently. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards enhances efficiency but is not mandatory; training will be provided.
