Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness Ensure public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment Restock cleaning supplies and amenities as needed throughout shifts Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is highly desirable Knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning and floor care methods Experience with hospitality operations or housekeeper management is a plus Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners is preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
