Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests, contributing to a positive hotel experience. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong work ethic to uphold our reputation for cleanliness and hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment Ensure all public areas, hallways, and lobbies are tidy and well-maintained Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Experience in hotel housekeeping management is advantageous but not mandatory Prior custodial or custodial management experience is beneficial A positive attitude with excellent time management skills

Pay: $7.75 - $9.00 per hour
