Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, human resources, revenue management, and financial oversight. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff. The Hotel General Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving overall hotel success.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining high-quality guest services. Oversee guest relations to ensure satisfaction and handle escalated issues promptly and professionally. Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to meet or exceed financial goals. Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and company policies across all departments. Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day. Maintain effective communication with staff through multi-line phone systems while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and hospitality excellence. Implement guest service standards to enhance guest experiences at every touchpoint within the resort or hotel setting.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles. Strong background in hospitality management, revenue management, budgeting, and guest services. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple departments efficiently. Knowledge of hotel operations including front desk management, night audit procedures, and resort services. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Experience with human resources functions such as staffing, training, and employee relations. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and professional phone etiquette in a hospitality environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
