The Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Syracuse/Dewitt is looking for front desk agents able to work 3p-11p and 7 am- 3 pm, with weekend availability. As a Front Desk Agent, you\xe2\x80\x99ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a memorable experience, You\xe2\x80\x99ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home. Daily Duties \xc2\xb7 Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner. \xc2\xb7 Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to respond to guest issues with a warm and courteous attitude along with a timely response, and follow up. \xc2\xb7 Must a have a professional tone and clear speaking voice and will be able to handle issues or complaints which may arise. \xc2\xb7 Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned bank. \xc2\xb7 Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up. \xc2\xb7 Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner. \xc2\xb7 Provide guests with tourist information, directions and local dining choices. \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications \xc2\xb7 High School diploma or equivalent required \xc2\xb7 Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas \xc2\xb7 Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc. \xc2\xb7 Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees. \xc2\xb7 Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
  • Signing bonus
