The Dishwasher position performs a variety of cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, and minor food preparation duties in a commercial kitchen located within a commercial kitchen in a restaurant setting. This position will support the Qavartarvik Customer Lodge in Bethel, AK. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disposes of trash in assigned receptacles.
• Retrieves soiled carts from patient floors.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and places in assigned storage areas in an organized and orderly manner.
• Cleans, sweeps, wipes down, etc. all general dining, kitchen, or storage areas (in some cases), and equipment as well as all floors.
• Assists with various periodic and scheduled cleaning projects.
• Neat and clean personal appearance.
• Follows dress code according to department
• Maintain HIPPA confidentiality.
• Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit\xe2\x80\x99s success also may be assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements

• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
• Food Handler card, Alaska Food Workers card, or ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Some prior experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of cleaning equipment/processes or a suitability for and interest in this type of work, preferred.
