We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Area Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hotel management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. The manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing revenue and budgets, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest relations.
Duties
Lead and supervise all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, and housekeeping departments
Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards
Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
Ensure excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high service standards
Handle night audit procedures and oversee the front desk operations utilizing multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth resort operations and guest experiences
Implement policies related to hospitality management, budgeting, and operational procedures
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
Develop and execute strategies for improving overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements
Proven supervising experience in hotel or resort management roles
Strong background in hospitality management, including hotel operations, revenue management, and guest services
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Bilingual or multilingual proficiency preferred for effective communication with international guests and staff
Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, and performance management
Knowledge of hotel management systems, front desk operations, night audit procedures, and multi-line phone systems
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor and strong phone etiquette
Ability to handle budgeting responsibilities and implement revenue-generating strategies
Previous experience working in a resort or similar hospitality environment is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
