Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every guest feels valued. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, hospitality knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and service efficiency. Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, aiming to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing. Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with restaurant policies.

Qualifications

Previous host/host or server experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong background in food service and hospitality, with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Experience with guest relations and managing customer expectations effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
