Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for guest services and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in welcoming guests, taking takeout orders, and ensuring guest's needs are met throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the cash register as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their dining experience. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to enhance the overall guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions effectively. Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with restaurant policies.

Skills

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required. Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A culinary background or knowledge of kitchen operations is a plus.
