Job Summary

As a Host/Host, you will be the vibrant face of our establishment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere while managing seating arrangements and coordinating with the service team to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help set the tone for our guests' visits.

What you'll do

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant entry experience. Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently, optimizing seating arrangements for maximum flow. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent customer service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to create a welcoming environment. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for managing reservations and orders. Assist in training new hosts/hostesses on best practices in guest services and restaurant operations. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.

Basic qualifications

Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with food service operations and guest relations. Experience in hotel settings is a plus. Knowledge of serving techniques and phone etiquette is beneficial.
