Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations within the restaurant.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room flow. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed. Monitor the dining area for guest needs, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and attended to. Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing reservations and guest information.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred, but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
