Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing guest flow and creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly upon arrival with a friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and professionalism, aiming for resolution. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in training new staff members on guest services and operational procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for food service and creating memorable experiences for guests is highly valued.
